Ingredients

  • 1 head of cabbage, shredded
  • 2 cups of fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup of feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup of plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 1 package of phyllo pastry sheets
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the shredded cabbage, chopped spinach, onion, eggs, feta cheese, and yogurt. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Brush a baking dish with olive oil. Place a sheet of phyllo pastry in the dish and brush it with olive oil. Repeat with several more sheets, layering them on top of each other.
  4. Spread the cabbage and spinach mixture evenly over the phyllo pastry.
  5. Layer more phyllo pastry sheets on top of the filling, brushing each sheet with olive oil.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
