Fried Radish Cake (炒萝卜糕)

Ingredients

  • 500g radish cake, cubed
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 stalks spring onions, chopped
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tbsp of cooking oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the cubed radish cake and pan-fry until golden brown and crispy on all sides. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. Heat the remaining 1 tbsp of cooking oil in the same pan. Add minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the beaten eggs and scramble until cooked through.
  5. Return the pan-fried radish cake to the pan. Add soy sauce, white pepper, and salt. Stir-fry until well combined.
  6. Add chopped spring onions and continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Transfer to a serving plate and serve hot.
