Goan Prawn Kishmur

Ingredients

  • 500g prawns, cleaned and deveined
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated coconut
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions until they turn translucent.
  2. Add the green chilies, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Sauté for a minute.
  3. Add the prawns and cook for 5-7 minutes until they turn pink and are cooked through.
  4. Add the freshly grated coconut and mix well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
